Key Responsibilities:The responsibilities of the Technical Coordinator include but are not limited to the following:Field Inspection visits.Perform and document audit visits of technical field personnel as directed by the Technical Manager and/or Operations Manager.Attend Pre-Inspection Meetings with inspectors.Assist in technical review of quote documents.Assist in providing higher level technical supervision to clients.Assist in performing a technical review on reports as requested.Assist in training of field personnel.In addition to the above Technical responsibilities, the Technical Coordinator will perform the following Coordination responsibilities:Coordination of Field assignments for Inspection and Expediting activities.Direct liaison with Customers, Suppliers and Field personnel.Ensure services are supplied to requirements and within cost and delivery targets.Plan and schedule work load of field personnel, ensuring that the contract requirements are understood and met by field personnel.Assist the Operations in the execution of their assigned responsibilities.Assist Operations Manager in evaluating field personnel performance.Ensure that ALL data entry into the Opus systems is performed in accordance with the agreed systems and procedures.Ensure that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the NDE Quality Management System.Represent Edif NDE as required at client’s meetings, conferences, etc.Review field reports prior to submittal to the client.Perform evaluations on field personnel as directed by the Operations Manager.Support and participate in the organisation’s environmental and safety program to conform to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements.Comply with HSE Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.Responsible for waste disposal as per the guidelines of the organization.At all times, comply with Edif NDE Code of Ethics and Conduct.Education, Skills and Experience:High school graduate or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years inspection industry experience and/or applicable fabrication experience.Holding at least one, preferably more of the following International or Industry recognised qualifications, such as but not limited to:NDT qualifications such as RT, PT, UT, MT, VT, RTFI (PCN/ERS/ACCP) or*Welding Inspector qualification such as AWS CWI, SCWI, CSWIP 3.1 OR 3.2, EWI, EWT, EWE,IIW/EWF Diploma or BGAS or *Coating / Painting qualification such as NACE, ICorr, BGAS, Frosio, ICAT or*Electrical / Instrumentation qualifications such as HND, Diploma, NVQ, HNC, C&ampampG or an electrical/ instrumentation apprenticeship (others to be evaluated on a case by case basis.) All electrical and instrumentation personnel must be familiar with regional standards applied in their part of the globe such as NFPA 497, NFPA70E, ATEX and IEC 60079-17 Ed4. CompEx / ATEX approvals are a plus.Boiler &ampamp Pressure Vessel ASME Authorised InspectorAPI653 Above ground storage tank, API570 Piping, API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector or API936 Refractory InspectorD&ampampC trained Inspector to DS-1 or NS-1ASME or CSWIP Plant Inspector qualificationsISO 9001:2008 approved Lead or Principal Auditor.OHSAS 18001 approved lead Auditor.ISO14001 approved Lead Auditor.Is a certified ASQ Engineer, Technician or Quality InspectorHSE qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA, NIOSH, OHSAS, NSC or ECITB or**Note:- Qualifications any other Nationally recognised bodies will be evaluated on a case by case basis.Knowledgeable with applicable industry international recognized standards and codesProficient in Microsoft Office.Able to read, write and speak in English language.Demonstrated customer focus, striving for high customer satisfaction and being responsive to client needs.Shows initiative – Taking ownership of work. Doing what is needed without being asked and following through.Strong written and oral communication skills.Maintain transparent communication.
